Silen Balin
D.D.S.

Dr. Silen Balin graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Bio-Chemistry and Chemistry and received her dental degree from the New York University College of Dentistry. Prior to her career in dentistry, Dr. Balin worked as a bio-chemist, focusing on clinical research in the area of fertility drugs. Dr. Balin is a member of the American Dental Association and has received her certification in Invisalign (clear braces) and also specializes in permanent tooth replacement and restoratives. Dr. Balin is strongly committed to providing superior patient service as well as making each visit comfortable and pleasurable. She sees patients of all ages. She believes in educating her patients on the benefits of good oral hygiene, healthy nutrition, guiding their dental growth and development and helping them avoid future dental problems.

Dr. Balin enjoys rollerblading, mountain biking, dining out and a variety of activities with her family and friends’ children. She resides in Philadelphia with her husband, Steven.
